Integrate Simple Calendar with the stack you already use

The Simple Calendar plugin, its addons, and our product bundles have been developed from the ground up following sound engineering practices. However, the third-party stack, whether these are WordPress themes or plugins, may not always interact with it as expected. So, feel free to reach out to explore what’s possible.

Compatible WordPress Themes

Simple Calendar is built to work smoothly with the WordPress themes you already love. Whether you're running a popular theme or a fully custom design, your calendar will display cleanly right out of the box. In rare cases where a custom theme needs a small tweak, our support team is always on hand to sort it out quickly.

Language & Translations

Simple Calendar is translation-ready, so you can serve your audience in their preferred language without hassle. The calendar adapts to your site's language settings, and if you need help configuring it for a specific locale, our team is just a message away.

Plugins Compatibility

Simple Calendar plays well with the plugins you rely on day to day. It's been built with compatibility in mind, so conflicts are rare. And if you ever run into an edge case with a third-party plugin, our friendly support team will work with you to get everything running smoothly together.

Page Builders Compatibility

Simple Calendar fits naturally into your existing page builder workflow, giving you full layout freedom without any technical headaches. Whether you're building with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or any other page builder, embedding your calendar is as simple as dropping in a shortcode.

Frequently asked questions

Secure authentication is required to display private Google Calendars on your site. You will be given two options to allow this authentication, specifically while using the Google Calendar Pro addon. These two options are ‘Authenticate with Google’ and ‘Auth via Simple Calendar’.

If you choose the ‘Authenticate with Google‘ option, you’ll need to manually configure the Google OAuth client and complete approximately 13-14 steps in the Google Developers Console to create credentials such as Client ID and Client Secret.

If you choose ‘Auth via Simple Calendar,’ you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can select the Google account you want to use for authorization and calendar retrieval. It is given to eliminate all the technical steps required in manual configuration above.

Both authentication methods are equally secure. The first option is more technical and time-intensive, while the second provides fast integration without us storing or accessing any of your personal data.

Here are some of the features you get with Simple Calendar that are not available with manual Google Calendar embed:

  • You can display multiple Google Calendars with the Grouped Calendar feature.
  • You can display events on any device, irrespective of the screen size.
  • You can display private Google Calendars securely with a single click on your site.
  • You can create as many booking landing pages as you want on your site with the Book an Appointment addon.
  • The calendar you display will instantly match your theme’s style and branding.

And, a lot more…

No, Simple Calendar does not store your Google account credentials. When you authenticate using ‘Auth via Simple Calendar,’ we facilitate a secure connection between your site and Google, but we never store or access your login information, passwords, or personal data. All authentication is handled directly through Google’s secure OAuth protocol.

While Google Calendar has also introduced the Appointment Scheduling feature, it isn’t devoid of limitations. You can do a lot more with the Book an Appointment addon. Our addon provides a branded and cohesive user experience to match your theme’s style. You can also create unlimited booking pages on your website with different Google Calendars. Also, you can set custom availability, buffer times, and booking rules beyond Google’s native options.
